Unsharp Masking Workshop

This workshop is a two day event involving the technical training and use of unsharp masking procedures. Students will utilize their own negatives to make the unsharp masks and create finished prints in this inspiring classroom. Negatives from 35mm to 8 x 10 can be used for this process.

We will also implement the use of dodge/burn masks if time permits on the second day. This practice allows the printer to dodge/burn exacting areas that cannot be obtained using conventional dodging and burning methods.

Fine Art Black and White Printing Workshop

This workshop is for photographers interested in improving their traditional black and white printing skills. The class is designed for those who have some knowledge in printing and also for experienced printers wishing to enhance their current level of expertise.

This two day class embraces many topics and discussions on the practice of fine art printing. Students will bring prints of their own for discussion and negatives for printing throughout the weekend.
